Everything you need to know about creating ad creatives with Varibly.
Getting Started
1. Create an account
Sign up with your email and password, or continue with Google. You'll get 3 free creative generations and 2 free exports to try the platform.
2. Create a project
From your dashboard, click "New Project" and give it a name (e.g., "Summer Campaign" or "Product Launch Ads").
3. Add your product info
You have two options:
- Paste manually — Copy in your product description, features, benefits, and target audience.
- Scrape a URL — Enter your website URL and Varibly will automatically extract the relevant information.
The more detail you provide, the better your ad creatives will be.
Integrations
Varibly is built API-first. The dashboard, the hosted MCP server, and your custom scripts all hit the same endpoints. Pick whichever interface fits how you work.
Use Varibly inside any AI agent
Hosted MCP server. Compile blueprints, render placement packs, refine designs, and upload assets directly from any spec-compliant client — Claude (Desktop, Code, Claude.ai web), Cursor, Cline, Continue, VS Code Copilot agent mode, or your own custom agent. Paste one URL; the agent walks itself through OAuth.
REST API for everything else
Bearer-auth REST API (vb_live_* keys) for n8n, Zapier, Make, your own backend. Mint a key on the API Keys page.
Generating Creatives
Ad Categories
Choose the marketing angles for your ads. Each angle produces different messaging styles:
- Problem Aware — Highlights the pain points your product solves
- Solution Aware — Shows how your product is the answer
- Social Proof — Leverages trust and authority
- Urgency — Creates FOMO and time-pressure
- Transformation — Shows the before/after journey
- Value — Focuses on what users get for their money
- Curiosity — Hooks attention with intrigue
- Identity — Connects with the target audience's self-image
Platform Resolutions
Select which platforms you're targeting. Varibly generates creatives at the correct dimensions for each:
- Instagram Stories/Reels (1080x1920)
- Instagram Feed (1080x1080)
- TikTok (1080x1920)
- Facebook Feed (1200x628)
- YouTube Shorts (1080x1920)
- LinkedIn (1200x627)
- And more...
Brand Customization
Set your brand colors, headline font, and body font before generating. You can also create brand presets — saved color combinations that can be applied to any creative after generation.
How Generation Works
When you click "Generate", Varibly reads your product info and creates unique ad concepts with:
- Headlines and subtext tailored to each marketing angle
- Call-to-action text
- Color schemes and layouts
- Platform-optimized dimensions
Each generation costs 1 credit per creative. You choose how many to generate (up to 50 at once).
Exporting
Free Exports
Every new account gets 2 free exports to experience the full workflow. After that, exports cost credits.
Image Export
Export any creative as a full-resolution PNG image. Select the creatives you want, click export, and download when ready. Costs 1 credit per image.
Video Export
Export creatives as animated MP4 videos with your choice of animation preset:
- Fade — Smooth fade-in transitions
- Slide — Elements slide into frame
- Zoom — Dynamic zoom effects
Set duration between 3-15 seconds. Costs 2 credits per video.
Render Queue
Video exports are processed in a render queue. You can monitor progress, see completed exports, and download files directly from the queue panel.

Referral Program
How It Works
Every Varibly user gets a unique referral link, visible on your dashboard. When someone signs up through your link:
- You earn 1 free credit for every 10 credits they use
- Your referral stats are tracked on your dashboard
- There's no cap on referral earnings
Sharing Your Link
From your dashboard, copy your referral link or use the "Share on X" button to post a pre-written tweet. You can also share your link anywhere — email, Slack, Discord, etc.
